Watson could have torn ACL vs. Seattle

Fox Sports' Jay Glazer also reported that the Texans are considering Kaepernick based on his ability to acclimate himself quickly and efficiently to their fast-paced offense, which was weakened earlier this week with the news that their prized youngster, DeShaun Watson, will be out for the rest of the year due to a serious knee injury. He was reportedly running an option play and the injury was non-contact in nature. It was horrendous - too many three-and-outs, no sense of urgency, the timing between Tom Savage and the receivers were off and there wasn't much continuity in what the Houston Texans were doing.

We're only just past the halfway mark of the 2018 regular season, yet numerous injuries to star players have impacted teams across the board. Watson was told he could continue playing with a brace securing the knee.

This report was made before the start of the game but you better believe the Houston Texans are actually considering signing him at this point. The Texans signed Brock Osweiler to a $72 million contract before last season, but he was benched before the season was over and shipped to Cleveland in the offseason. He still has a bright future, but his rookie year is cut short. He was tied for the league lead with 19 touchdown passes, was No. 1 in total QBR (81.9) and was 3-3 as a starter. However, he suffered a setback during rehabilitation, forcing the team to place him on injured reserve that ended his season. However, as a child of God, I understand that everything happens for a reason.

"I'm just going to state the obvious: There's some things he can do that I can't do". Take this time to evaluate and appreciate everything you've been blessed with.

Until the 4th quarter, this is exactly what I expected to see out of the Houston Texans but was proven otherwise. As life went on, more and more obstacles came your way that you had to again overcome time and time again but you got through it somehow.
