Roy Moore speaks at revival amid sexual misconduct allegations

On the same afternoon that the Republican National Committee stopped funding Senate candidate Roy Moore's campaign, and Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell said Moore would be expelled from Congress if elected, Rep. Mo Brooks risked his life to defend the accused child molester.

Several women have accused Moore of seeking romantic relationships with them while they were teenagers.

Despite the negative news cycle his campaign has been facing, Roy Moore will likely be encouraged by a new poll released Tuesday night. Voters in Alabama are receiving calls from a person falsely claiming to be with The Washington Post who is looking for damaging information on Moore in exchange for money.

Recently, the Washington Post reported that in 1979, when he was in his 30s, Moore had inappropriate sexual contact with a girl aged 14.

Neither Corfman nor any of the other women sought out The Post.

Stephen Colbert had some pointed barbs for Roy Moore, the embattled Republican candidate for United States Senator in Alabama, on Tuesday's episode of The Late Show. The women say they don't know one another.

Another development involving the U.S. Senate race in Alabama.

He jokingly told the crowd he's the only one who can unite Democrats and Republicans because he says he seems to be opposed by both.

"They've spent over $30 million to try and take me out". Some evangelicals in Alabama still consider Moore a champion of their faith - a politician willing to stand up for Christian values.

Al Moore, the pastor, said he's on the fence about whether to vote for Roy Moore.

"As an attorney, I know accusations are easy. I do not know enough of the evidence to know with confidence what the true facts are".
