Lindsay Lohan: 'Dubai is a calmer home for me'

Lindsay looked the picture of health at the Daily Mail Holiday Party in NY, which she attended with her mum Dina.

Lohan quickly threw her name in the ring to play the red-headed half-human-half-fish with a voice of gold.

The actress is now looking forward to spending the rest of the Christmas season with her family in the US. Admitting Paramount had discussed the possibility with her for years, Fey said she declined to work on the made-for-TV flick.

"I love living in NY, but I do love the serenity and peace that I find living in the Middle East because there are no cameras in Dubai and I can actually focus on what I want to do in life", she explained. She explained why she is happy there, "There was a lot of times in America where it was very hard for me to have my own time for myself, I really have an opportunity now to really focus on who I am as a person... and there is no paparazzi. I don't think anyone could even be in a relationship with me because I'm never there all the time".

The Herbie: Fully Loaded star added that she doesn't get photographed in the city and has more privacy. "Life is moving good, it's fast but in a good calmer way".

"'Mean Girls 2, ' the movie, this is the importance", Lohan told E! The star is getting into beauty too, "I'm doing lipstick, fragrance".

"I'm here in NY, so Tina Fey better be hiding, or I'm going to find her, and Lorne Michaels (who produced the film and the musical)" she said. "Maybe [while] I'm here I can talk to her about it". I'm like, 'Do I go back? Lindsay been hitting headlines in recent months due to claims that she's dating bodybuilder Je-yong Ha, also known as the "Korean Hulk". "He's my good friend, it's so amusing!" I found love working with children now so that's my focus...

Lindsay Lohan may not have revisited her "Mean Girls" role for the latest musical adaptation, but she's willing to play Cady Heron once more if Tina Fey whips up a script.
