Drew McIntyre Back From Injury; Returns To WWE Main Roster

Tuesday, 17 Apr, 2018

Drew McIntyre spent some time on the main roster before but it didn't work out for him the first time the way he would have liked.

Interesting Monday Night Raw tonight. He then returned to NXT and became the NXT Champion and after recovering from an injury it looks like he's ready to go once again.

In fact, after being released in 2014, the Ayr man went out and made his name everywhere but WWE and eventually found his way back in WWE a year ago - where he quickly won the NXT Championship.

Ziggler is one of many Smackdown stars to move to the red brand and Titus O'Neil invited him to join his team alongside Apollo and Dana Brooke.

War Games, Drew McIntyre was injured in his championship loss to Andrade Almas. In 2009 and 2010, McIntyre held the WWE Intercontinental Championship and the WWE Tag Team Championship.

However, The Showoff turned down the offer and stated: "I didn't come back to RAW alone".

Drew McIntyre made his return to WWE, being called up to the main roster and forging an unlikely partnership with the former Mr Money In The Bank.
