When you watch an embarrassing amount of baseball like me, you're bound to see it.

Facing New York Mets hard-throwing right-hander Jacob deGrom, Harper smoked a 96-mph fastball to right-center field for a solo home run.

Judge, who turns 26 years old in 10 days, entered Monday's action batting.340/.470/.566 with three home runs and nine RBI in 66 plate appearances.

According to Statcast, the ball traveled 406 feet despite the fact that Harper was left with only the handle of the bat from the swing.

It was the second day in a row that Harper hit a homer in the first inning.

Harper is now up to eight home runs this season, which means nearly any time he touches the ball it goes over the fence. He leads baseball in dingers.

Bryce Harper smacked a home run Monday despite breaking his bat in half in the process. He is well ahead of that pace.
