10 basic rules for fasting during Ramadan

Ramadan 2018 Date in India and other Asian countries: Depending on the moon sighting, fasting for Ramadan in India will either begin from May 17 (Thursday) or May 18 (Friday).

Taraweeh is the special prayer held post Isha'a namaz on every night of Ramadan, when the entire Quran is narrated in divided portions over the next 27 days. The prayer consists of a sermon followed by the short congregational prayer.
