In addition to the beta update, the May Android Security update is also being rolled out.

OnePlus is rolling out new updates to OnePlus 5 and OnePlus 5T, but these are specific to those in the Open Beta program.

The update comes as HydrogenOS 5.1.0 on both devices and comes in at a little over 1.9GB. Moreover, it further adds several improvements to apps like Launcher, Switch and Messages. While OnePlus 6 release is just around the corner, the company is still zealous in providing latest update and support for older flagships like OnePlus 5 and 5T. The new OTA update also brings May 2018 security patch fixes.

Update (04/20/2018): We've updated this article with details on the OnePlus 6 glass design, white colorway, Avengers Infinity War edition, and more. A new Toolbox card is available in the OnePlus Shelf, and there's a new Hidden Space in the app drawer. For people who don't know what a OnePlus switch is, it is basically a feature found on all OnePlus phones, which basically makes it easy for users to switch from their current phone to a OnePlus device. The enhancements come in the form of a new UI for backup and restore, an optimized logic for time remaining.

Those updates apply to the OnePlus Launcher of Oxygen OS. It is also adding a new Hidden Space in the app drawer and is also giving users the ability to edit dynamic icons like weather, clock and calendar.

In the recent past, OnePlus is quite consistent offering regular software updates for its devices.
