Fortnite Patch v4.2 Officially Delayed Due to Unknown Issues

Wednesday, 16 May, 2018

Usually this would be a nice easy challenge to kick things off, with Match Replays available from the Career Tab of the main Battle Royale screen.

The update, which is due to bring an end to the game's time-limited Infinity Gauntlet mode, has had to be delayed due to the discovery of an unspecified error. "Due to this delay some quests may not function until the build releases".

So until Fortnite 4.2 update is set live, you won't be able to complete this task, which is something that needs to be considered straight away.

Fortnite search rubber duckies is one of the season 4 week 3 challenges.

The new patch is set to deliver a new weapon in a Burst Assault Rifle, while you can check out the list of new weekly challenges below.

This will all change with the launch of update 4.2, with Epic Games adding the feature to Fortnite Mobile through the new patch. Better to get it right the first for less stress on the servers and the team, and less frustration for the players. While it has been weeks since this addition, Epic Games ensures players never go too long without new content, and so since then we have seen the destruction of Dusty Depot, and even the addition of anti-gravity consumables.

The Fortnite 4.2 update was originally scheduled to go live early this morning, though Epic pushed it back along with the planned Fortnite downtime.
