TN 12th Result 2018 declared; Over 6750 Schools score 100% results

Last year, the Tamil Nadu Board of Secondary Education declared the SSLC Class 10 Results on May 19, 2017.

Overall, the board has reported a dip in the pass percentage compared to last academic year results, when the state registered its best pass percentage.

Nearly 866,000 class 12th students have appeared for the exam. While the passing percentage for girls is 94.1, for boys it is 87.7. Among the candidates, about 4.63 lakh are girls and 4.03 lakh are boys. In June, a re-examination was conducted for the students who could not clear the exam.

This year, of the 6754 schools that took part in the exams, 1907 schools reported 100% pass percentage.
