Three key Champions League final duels

"You analyse Real Madrid playing in other games against other teams and you think "wow, they are really strong", but they never played us".

Salah has been the star turn of Liverpool's season, scoring 44 goals in his debut season at Anfield to plunder a series of individual Player of the Year awards.

Real Madrid and Liverpool are two vastly different footballing styles, with the Spanish side dominating the middle of the pitch whilst the Reds look to use their attacking trident and the flanks.

Jurgen Klopp's Liverpool were nowhere near the conversation for the final at the beginning of the campaign and their progress to the last 16 didn't suggest that was likely to change.

"The most hard part is to continue to make it as far as we can every time".

"Comparing players with Ronaldo and Messi is something you can't do, they're in another orbit", Ramos said.

With 24 goals since Coutinho's final game for Liverpool, Salah has been in unstoppable form and helped his side to shrug off the loss of the Brazilian star.

Liverpool: Loris Karius (goal-keeper), Trent Alexander-Arnold, Virjil van Dijk, Dejan Lovren, Andrew Robertson, James Milner, Jordan Henderson (captain), Georginio Wijnaldum, Sadio Mane, Roberto Firmino, Mohamed Salah.

"We have beaten the biggest team in each league - Juve, PSG and Bayern - to get here".

For years, United and Liverpool have battled for top honours in England, well before the rise of the rest of the clubs. There's a feeling this time out that the sides are more evenly matched.

And it is not just Salah's on-pitch skills that have got people talking.

Mohamed Salah troubled Marcelo when they met in Real Madrid's win over Roma in 2016. He's full of power and whatever you need to be the day before a final or before a football game in general.

"They have to be on the front foot from the start".

Real Madrid are preparing to fight it out in their fourth Champions League final in the last five years.

Fans are gathering in the Ukrainian capital Kiev for the biggest event in the footballing calendar - the European Champions League final. "In the dressing room, we do not feel like favorites".

Meanwhile, Ronaldo could win his fifth Champions League, a landmark reached by only four players before now.
