Meghan Markle's 'inappropriate' outfit slammed at Queen's birthday celebrations

British Royal Air Force Red Arrows pilots have performed a fly-past in London during the annual Trooping of the Colour ceremony.

The Trooping the Colour ceremony is an event the Queen knows well and she would have inspected the Guardsmen, in their scarlet tunics and bearskins with a keen eye.

The skin-baring look is clearly a favourite of the Duchess', who wore an off-the-shoulder top for one of her first appearances alongside Prince Harry.

Prince Philip, the Queen's husband, did not attend the event, having retired from public life past year.

Meghan Markle makes her Trooping the Colour parade, alongside Prince Harry.

At 1pm, the royals gathered on the balcony for the RAF flypast featuring 23 modern and historic planes, Meghan taking centre stage.

The tour, believed to be the pair's honeymoon, falls on the occasion of the fourth Invictus Games, which is held in Sydney from October 20-27.

Kensington Palace is also expected to shortly announce Meghan's first charitable patronage since becoming the fourth member of the Royal Foundation behind by Prince William, Princess Kate, and Prince Harry. Flaunting an attractive hat from Philip Treacy, the 36-year-old swapped her signature messy bun with a shiny blowout.
