Bihar girl alleges gang rape by school teachers and students

"The poor girl apprehending stigma and the video going viral in public went on succumbing to the carnal desires of other boys and two teachers in possession of the video", police superintendent Rai said.

The girl has alleged that ever since her father went to jail in December 2017, the principal and the teachers of the Deepeshwar Gyan Niketan gang-raped her.

Also, a special investigation team (SIT) was constituted on Saturday to probe the alleged gang rape of the minor girl for seven months.

As per media reports, the girl had approached the police after she was raped for the first time but the police officials had refused her to file the complaint in the matter.

The police have registered a case at the Ekma police station in Chhapra's Parsagarh.

The girl told police on Saturday that since her father was in jail and her younger brother studied in Class 7 of the same school, she held back her complain and silently suffered the cruelty.

The girl, a ninth-grade student in Bihar state, said in the statement she was first raped in December by three schoolmates who took a video of the attack. He said police were looking for the 13 others accused in the complaint. She said she did not report the abuse fearing society would ostracize her.

Based on victim's complaint, the police have arrested the principal and a teacher, while two students have been detained so far.

She was taken to a hospital for medical examination. Soon, four to five more students joined him, in along with the principal and two other teachers.

Data reveals a spurt in the cases of molestation and sexual assault against women and minor in Bihar. He said the accused shared the video with some friends in the school, who blackmailed and raped the girl. She accused students of raping and filming the act earlier this year.
